DNC update: DNC mistakes continue to cost money in state fines for companies

DNC update:  DNC mistakes continue to cost money in state fines for companies.  A settlement has been reached between New York State and Hilton Grand Vacations regarding unsolicited telemarketing sales calls.

Hilton was held in violation of New York's Do Not Call (DNC) law after it allegedly made unsolicited calls to consumers whose telephone numbers were validly registered on the DNC registry. The company did not make any admission of wrongdoing, but agreed to pay a $250,500 settlement and change its practices (scrub!).
