TELEMARKETING FRAUD
K.S.A. § 50-674
50-674. Where law enforced.

For the purposes of enforcement under K.S.A. 50-671 through 50-674, any telemarketing sale shall be considered to have taken place in the state where the consumer is located, regardless of the location of the telemarketer. K.S.A. § 50-675 50-675. Supplemental to Kansas consumer protection act; unconscionable acts.

(a) This act shall be part of and supplemental to the Kansas consumer protection act.

(b) Any attempt to collect a fee, or enforce a credit card charge or transaction or any refusal to make a refund to the consumer in violation of this act is an unconscionable act within the meaning of K.S.A. 50-627 and amendments thereto.
