A hand signs a contract while a man in a suit points at the contract, there is a gavel on the table

In an example of the proverb “Turnabout is fair play”, a plaintiff’s law firm has been sued for alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The defendant, The Litigation Practice Group PC, is alleged to have placed multiple telemarketing calls to the plaintiff despite his phone number being listed on the National Do Not Call (DNC) Registry. The plaintiff is alleging a nationwide class and the case is filed with the Middle District of Pennsylvania court.

The Litigation Practice Group does not list the TCPA among its practice areas on its website but it does list “collections harassment & FDCPA”. This is at least the second time they have been sued for alleged TCPA violations, having faced a similar claim last year in Callier v. The Litigation Practice Group, PC.
