WEBINAR:

Repositioning Your TCPA Strategies In A Post-ACA World

May 9, 2018 @ 11:00 AM Pacific Time

Recent D.C. Circuit Court opinion radically changes the landscape for TCPA compliance and strategies.

Join technical and legal experts from Contact Center Compliance, Five9, and Innovista Law, home of the TCPA Defense Force, in a discussion about how compliance strategies have recently evolved and changed.

The webinar will cover the DC Circuit’s opinion, which threw out the FCC’s sweeping definition of a dialer (ATDS) and catch-22 standard for calls to reassigned numbers, but kept in place the open-ended standard for how consumers can revoke their consent.

The panelists will discuss how the industry and courts are adapting to this major change in the landscape. In particular, they will dissect the following emerging topics:

  • DC Circuit ramifications on your business: how to address reassigned numbers and technology/ATDS decisions
  • Consent and revocation, and how the courts’ standards have been diverging in voice vs. SMS contexts
  • SMS and app platforms and clarification – who is the sender?
  • Vicarious liability – what it is and what steps you should take
